2011 Chipper Date and Breakfast in the park

On Saturday October 22, 2011 at 9am Raven Hills HOA will be hosting our Fall chipper day and Wildfire Mitigation kickoff event.

First, we will meet at Raven Hills Park for a light breakfast provided by the HOA and then review our Firewise achievements and goals for the upcoming year. Andrew Nothohm, the Wildfire Mitigation Program Coordinator for Colorado Springs will also say a few words. Anyone interested in helping with chipping, finding out more about the Firewise program, or socializing is encouraged to attend.

To help us plan for breakfast please RSVP by Thursday October 21, 2011.

After breakfast and presentations, we'll proceed to our Fall Chipping event. This is different from the curbside chipping conducted earlier this spring. If the items that you would like chipped meet the criteria, place the items to be chipped in the designated areas by 9am October 22,2011. Any items placed in the designated areas after the chipper has completed will not be chipped.
